What this page collects

The site you're reading sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. There is no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker.

It does load Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and load timings without cookies and without building a profile of you. It is on because the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

If you leave your email

We store exactly four things, and only because the form sends them: your email address, the time you submitted, the country code Cloudflare attaches to the request, and your browser's user-agent string. They sit in Cloudflare KV storage.

We use them for one thing: to email you when access opens, and to reply about the taste.md we offered to write for you. We don't sell them, rent them, or hand them to advertisers.

They stay until you ask us to remove them — there's no expiry timer. To have your entry deleted, email [email protected] from that address and it's gone; you don't have to give a reason.

If you send us a video

The offer on the home page is that you send one video you've already made and we read it by hand and send back your taste.md. If you take us up on it: we use that video to write your profile and for nothing else, we don't publish it or show it to anyone outside the people doing the reading, and we delete our copy once the profile is sent unless you tell us to keep it.

Inside the editor

Editing routes material through AI providers because that's how the work gets done — speech-to-text, understanding what's in a shot, and generating material you ask for. Today those are Volcano Engine (transcription and voice), Volcano Ark, DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Alibaba Cloud DashScope. We send only what the edit needs.

Your taste.md is plain text and it's yours. You can read it, edit it, switch any line off, and take it with you.

When this changes

If what we do changes, this page changes first and the date above moves. We won't quietly broaden it — if we ever want to use your material for something not described here, we'll ask you, not update a clause.
